     John Lewis Sisley was born on 6 September 1860 at Lancaster, Grant County, Wisconsin.1,2,3 He was the son of John Sisley and Olive Melissa Woodward. John Lewis Sisley appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Woodman, Grant County, Wisconsin, in the household of his mother Olive Melissa Woodward.4 John Lewis Sisley appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Lima, Grant County, Wisconsin in the household of his mother Olive.5 John Lewis Sisley married Emily Bickford, daughter of George Hiram Bickford and Emilie Ernestine Dietzman, on 12 June 1882 at Wisconsin. John Lewis Sisley married Isabel M. Graves, daughter of Joab Ragan Graves and Mary Catherine Baker, on 9 July 1888 at Grant County, Wisconsin.6 John Lewis Sisley died on 14 July 1937 at Lancaster at age 76.1,7 He was buried at Burton Cemetary, Grant County, Wisconsin.7
