     Martha Buell was born on 27 December 1675 at Simsbury, Hartford County, Connecticut.1 She was the daughter of Peter Buell and Martha Coggins.1 Martha Buell married Nathaniel Holcomb, son of Nathaniel Holcomb and Mary Bliss, on 1 November 1695 at Simsbury.2 Martha Buell witnessed the capture of her future son-in-law Daniel Hayes by the Indians.3,4 Martha Buell died on 6 September 1760 at Simsbury at age 84.2
