     Robert Whitcomb was baptized on 20 December 1629 at Taunton, Somerset, England.2 He was the son of John Whitcomb and Francis Coggan.1 Robert Whitcomb married Mary Cudworth, daughter of James Cudworth, on 9 March 1660 at Scituate, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.3,4 Robert Whitcomb died on 25 December 1704 at Scituate at age 75.1
