     Jonathan Clough was born on 11 April 1688 at Salisbury, Essex County, Massachusetts.2 He was the son of John Clough and Mercy Page.2 Jonathan Clough married Hannah Gile, daughter of Ephraim Gile and Martha Bradley, on 31 December 1709 at Salisbury.3,4 Jonathan Clough married Mary Gile, daughter of James Gile and Ruth Parker, on 24 February 1728 at Thompson, Windham County, Connecticut.5 Jonathan Clough died on 2 June 1782 at Connecticut at age 94.5
