Sarah Brackett Carter was born on 30 September 1800 at Limerick, York County, Maine.1 She was the daughter of Ezra Carter and Sarah Fabyan.1 Sarah Brackett Carter married Calvin Foss, son of Zachariah Foss and Olive Carll, on 1 November 1823 at (probably) Scarborough, Cumberland County, Maine.2 Sarah Brackett Carter died on 4 March 1894 at Bountiful, Davis County, Utah, at age 93.1 She was buried at Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah.1
