     James Flint was born on 10 August 1751 at Hampton, Windham County, Connecticut.1 He was the son of Samuel Flint and Mary Hall.1 James Flint married Jerusha Lillie, daughter of Elisha Lillie and Hulda Tilden, on 22 April 1773 at Connecticut.2 James Flint married second Margaret Boyce on 13 May 1813.3 James Flint died on 10 October 1849 at Randolph, Orange County, Vermont, at age 98.
