     Israel Nichols was baptized on 1 September 1650 at Hingham, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.1,4,5 He was the son of Thomas Nichols and Rebecca Joslin.2,3 Israel Nichols married Mary (--?--) on 26 September 1679 at Hingham.1,5 Israel Nichols married second Mary Sumner, daughter of Roger Sumner and Mary Joslin, on 10 January 1688/89 at Milton, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.6,7,5 Israel Nichols married third Rebecca Lincoln, daughter of Samuel Lincoln and Martha Lyford, on 24 June 1725 at Cohasset, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.8 Israel Nichols died on 24 January 1733/34 at Cohasset at age 83.8
