3. [S264] Compilers Note: That Rebecca was the daughter of Lawrence and Ann (Linton) Waters seems almost certain. Some sources say the Rebecca born Feb. 1639/40 was the one who married Josiah Whitcomb. However, both Savage and Watertown town records make it clear that Rebecca died the next month. To date, I have not yet found the record of the birth (about 1644) of another daughter named Rebecca to Lawrence and Ann Waters.
