     Abigail Litchfield was nicknamed Nabby. She was born on 23 December 1776 at Scituate, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.³ She was the daughter of James Litchfield and Elizabeth Litchfield.^1,2 Abigail Litchfield was baptized on 4 October 1778 at Scituate.¹ She married Josiah Litchfield, son of Daniel Litchfield and Sarah Whitcomb, on 8 June 1795 at Scituate.⁴ Abigail Litchfield died on 11 September 1856 at Springfield, Windsor County, Vermont, at age 79.⁵ She was buried at Summerhill Cemetery, Springfield, Windsor County, Vermont.⁵
