     Mace Richard Clough was born on 13 April 1868 at Kansas.2,3,4,5 He was also reported to have been born about 1868 at Colorado.6 He was the son of Wilbur Fiske Clough and Jennie Case.1 Mace Richard Clough appeared on the 1875 Kansas State Census of Centropolis Township, Franklin County, Kansas, in the household of his parents Wilbur and Jennie.7 Mace Richard Clough appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Ottawa, Franklin County, Kansas in the household of his parents, Wilbur and Jennie.8 Mace Richard Clough appeared on the 1885 Kansas State Census of Baker, Crawford County, Kansas, in the household of his parents Wilbur and Jennie.9 Mace Richard Clough married Nellie McJunkin, daughter of Melville James McJunkin, on 8 August 1899 at Plattsmouth, Cass County, Nebraska.10,11 Mace Richard Clough was a painter, paperhanger and decorator at Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska.12 Mace and Nellie appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska, enumerated 15 January 1920. Their children Kenneth Melford and Carroll Clyde were listed as living with them.13 Mace Richard Clough died on 4 November 1945 at Omaha at age 77.2 He was buried on 6 November 1945 at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska.2,14
