     Ellen Gould Harmon was born on 26 November 1827 at Gorham, Cumberland County, Maine.^1,2 She was the daughter of Robert Harmon and Eunice Gould.¹ Ellen Gould Harmon married James Springer White, son of John White and Betsy (--?--), on 30 August 1846 at Portland, Cumberland County, Maine.^3,2 Ellen Gould Harmon died on 16 July 1915 at St. Helena, Napa County, California, at age 87.² She was buried after 16 July 1915 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Battle Creek, Calhoun County, Michigan.
