John Eddy was baptized in March 1597 at Cranbrook, Kent, England.1 He was the son of William Eddy and Mary Fosten.1 John Eddy married Amy Doggett before 1622.1 John and Amy arrived at Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts, in 1630 aboard the Handmaid.1 John Eddy died on 12 October 1684 at Watertown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, at age 87.1
