Kelly was born say 1882.¹ He witnessed the marriage of Charles Clifford Dearhamer and Chloe Mattie Weller, daughter of Charles Elliot Weller and Catharine Anna Sisley, on 15 June 1904 at Independence, Buchanan County, Iowa.^2,3 C. Kelly died.¹ He married Maude Dearhamer, daughter of John Milton Dearhamer and Mary Jane Moulton, on 23 November 1904 at Independence.¹
