     Mary Hale was born on 15 July 1660 at Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts.1 She married Edward Putnam, son of Thomas Putnam and Ann Holyoke, on 14 June 1681 at Salem, Essex County, Massachusetts.1,2 Mary Hale died on 10 March 1746/47 at Salem at age 86.1
