     John Foss was born about 1746 at Scarborough, Cumberland County, Maine.1 He was the son of Walter Foss and Sarah Babb.1 John Foss married Rachel Milliken, daughter of Edward Milliken and Abigail Norman, on 4 May 1769 at Scarborough.2 John Foss died on 21 April 1833 at Saco, York County, Maine.1
