1. [S264] Compilers Note: Matthew has long been thought to have been the son of Godfredus and Levina Wynge (or Wing). Recent work by Wing family researchers has, however, made this less likely. Still, I do not believe that we can absolutely rule Godfredus out as Matthew's father. For now, Matthew's parentage must be considered speculative.
