     George Moore was born on 8 April 1861 at Columbia County, Wisconsin.^1,2,3,4,5 He was the son of James Moore and Mary Vickers. George Moore appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Scott, Columbia County, Wisconsin, in the household of his parents James and Mary.⁶ George Moore married Minnie Belle Wing, daughter of Seth Burgess Wing and Luthera Abigail Litchfield, on 17 January 1886 at Wyocena, Columbia County, Wisconsin.^7,8 George Moore was a bee keeper and farmer.^9,10,11 George and Minnie appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Lincoln Township, Monroe County, Wisconsin, enumerated 1 June 1900. Their children Mary Elizabeth, Minnie Maude and Wesley George were listed as living with them.¹² George Moore lived about 1902 at Ladysmith, Rusk County, Wisconsin.¹ George and Minnie appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Grant Township, Rusk County, Wisconsin, enumerated about 8 May 1910. Their children Seth Alexander and Wesley George were listed as living with them.¹³ George and Minnie appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Grant Township, Rusk County, Wisconsin, enumerated 27 January 1920. Their son Seth Alexander was listed as living with them.¹⁴ George and Minnie appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Grant Township, Rusk County, Wisconsin, enumerated 15 April 1930. Their son Seth Alexander was listed as living with them, as well as Seth's wife Doris and their sons Gerald Edwin Moore and Ronald Allen Moore.¹⁵ George Moore died on 27 March 1935 at Ladysmith at age 73.¹ He was buried at Riverside Cemetery, Ladysmith, Rusk County, Wisconsin.¹
