     Mary Vickers was born on 30 June 1828 at Lancashire, England.2,3,4,5 She was the daughter of Peter Vickers.1 Mary Vickers married Daniel Chandler before 1848. Mary Vickers married James Moore on 13 April 1850. Mary and James appeared on the 1860 Federal Census, of Scott, Columbia County, Wisconsin, enumerated 14 June 1860. Their children Catherine, John, Mary Jane and Thomas were listed as living with them, also in the household were Mary's son James Chandler and her father Peter Vickers.6 Mary and James appeared on the 1870 Federal Census, of Scott enumerated 1 June 1870. Their children George, John, Alexander and Thomas were listed as living with them.7 Mary and James appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Scott, Columbia County, Wisconsin, enumerated 17 June 1880. Their son Alexander was listed as living with them, also enumerated in the household was farm laborer George W. Gorsuch.8 Mary Vickers died on 30 November 1891 at Pardeeville, Columbia County, Wisconsin, at age 63.5 She was buried at Marcellon Cemetery, Pardeeville, Columbia County, Wisconsin.
