[S264] Compilers Note: The vital records of East Greenwich, Rhode Island give the marriage date as 1742 but, the same source lists Ruth Corey, born 23 Nov 1747, as the daughter of Joseph and Rebecca with a birth date of 23 Nov. 1747. That same source also gives Rebecca's death date as 18 Jan 1751 . The 1742 marriage date is, therefore, questionable with 1752 being more likely.
