     Daniel Litchfield was born on 20 December 1810 at Springfield, Windsor County, Vermont.^2,3,1 He was the son of Josiah Litchfield and Abigail Litchfield.¹ Daniel Litchfield married Luthera Estabrook, daughter of John Estabrook and Belinda Wheelock, on 24 October 1830 at Chester, Windsor County, Vermont.¹ Daniel Litchfield was a farmer on 6 September 1850 at Troy, Orleans County, Vermont.⁴ Daniel and Luthera appeared on the 1850 Federal Census, of Troy enumerated 6 September 1850. Their children Lucius Hubbard, William Mack, Luthera Abigail, Daniel Brooks, Martha Marcella and John Leonard were listed as living with them.⁵ Daniel Litchfield died on 14 April 1897 at Brownington, Orleans County, Vermont, at age 86.^3,1 He was buried at Brownington Center Cemetery, Brownington, Orleans County, Vermont.³
