She was the daughter of George Hiram Bickford and Emilie Ernestine Dietzman.¹ Emily Bickford married John Lewis Sisley, son of John Sisley and Olive Melissa Woodward, on 12 June 1882 at Wisconsin. Emily Bickford died on 14 June 1882 at Lima, Grant County, Wisconsin.²
