     Benjamin Betts was born on 14 June 1815 at Pennsylvania.¹ He was the son of Christian Betts and Elizabeth Birch. Benjamin Betts married Leah Flaugh on 18 July 1836. Benjamin Betts married second Louise Jane Thomas on 23 April 1862. Benjamin Betts married third Harriet (--?--) before 1870. Benjamin Betts married fourth Emily (--?--) after 1870. Benjamin Betts died on 17 March 1883 at Chanute, Neosho County, Kansas, at age 67.¹
