     Christian Betts was born on 15 October 1777 at Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.1,2 He was the son of Andrew Betts and Catherine (--?--).1 Christian Betts married Elizabeth Birch, daughter of James Birch and Sarah Buckley, about 1800. Christian Betts married second Hanna Engelhaupt before 1846. Christian Betts died on 21 June 1853 at Green Township, Mercer County, Pennsylvania, at age 75.1,2 He was buried at State Line Cemetery, Crawford County, Pennsylvania.1
