     Clarence Howard Corey was born on 28 August 1874 at Lynxville, Crawford County, Wisconsin.1,2,3,4,5 He was the son of Warner Joseph Corey and Martha Louisa Hopkins. Clarence Howard Corey appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Lynxville, Crawford County, Wisconsin in the household of his parents, Warner and Martha.6 Clarence appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Plain Center Township, Charles Mix County, South Dakota, enumerated 18 June 1900. Also enumerated in the household were his mother Mattie Corey, his sisters Lyda Corey and Helen Eleanor Corey, and his brother Lorenzo Enos Corey.7 Clarence Howard Corey married Jessie A. Kroh, daughter of Daniel T. Kroh, about 1902.8 Clarence Howard Corey was a farmer on 26 April 1910 at Murdo Township, Lyman (now Jones) County, South Dakota.9 Clarence and Jessie appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Murdo Township, Lyman (now Jones) County, South Dakota, enumerated 26 April 1910. Their children Howard E. and Harold L and Jessie's father Daniel T. Kroh were listed as living with them.10 Clarence Howard Corey was a farmer on 31 July 1920 at Murdo Township, Jones County, South Dakota.11 Clarence and Jessie appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Murdo Township, Jones County, South Dakota, enumerated 31 July 1920. Their children Howard E. and Harold L were listed as living with them, as well as Jessie's father Daniel.12 Clarence Howard Corey married Nora Evaline Mc Cullough on 1 July 1931 at Murdo, Trip County, South Dakota.13,14 Clarence Howard Corey died in 1950 at Rusk County, Wisconsin.15 He was buried in 1950 at Apollonia Cemetery, Bruce, Rusk County, Wisconsin.15
