     Amos Holcomb was born on 14 August 1758 at Simsbury, Hartford County, Connecticut.1 He was the son of Amos H. Holcomb and Mary Dibble.1 Amos Holcomb married Mary Hall say 1790 at (probably) Isle La Mott, Grand Isle County, Vermont.1 Amos Holcomb died on 17 March 1834 at Isle La Mott at age 75.1
