Proved 21 March 1738. Exs. sons William and Philip. To eldest son William, half of 120 acres in Pocasset, half of swamp lot and half of 60 acre lot, supposed to have been given him in his grandfathers will, which I confirm, also other land. To my grandson Thomas Cory, son of Thomas, of Dartmouth, deceased, 200 acres and housing, being homestead farm where my son Thomas lived, in Dartmouth, also 40 acres joining my brother-in-law Philip Taber, all to be at his age. To son Philip, homestead where I now live, in Tiverton, 120 acres and housing, two cows, and young cattle already in his hands, and half the sheep and profit of house and land given to grandson John, till said grandson is of age, Philip to bring John up to learning, till sixteen and then put him to trade. To daughter Patience Cory, 250 pounds in household goods, in consideration of what my other two daughters have already had, and of her present weakness, and also Indian boy Sam and Indian girl Dinah, till their time out. To daughter Mary Durfee, wife of Thomas, 600 pounds. To daughter Sarah Brown wife of Abraham 600 pounds. To daughter Patience 600 pounds. To Wife Susanah 100 pounds and if she happen to have a child or children, he or they to have lands in Tiverton and Dartmouth not given. To son Philip, cart, plow etc. To all children, rest of personal. To daughter Patience, house room firewood and keep of cow etc, till marriage, and ridding beast, all kept by son Philip. Inventory. 4,862 pounds, 15 shillings, 6 pence, viz: house apparel and books 41 pounds 3 shillings, 6 pence, pewter, 6 silver spoons, cheese press, bonds 2,955 pounds 4 shillings, 2 pence, meat cattle 29 pounds, horse kind 60 pounds, sheep 30 pounds, 397 acres wild land in sundrey places, 1 pound,16 shillings, 10 pence..
