     Joseph Wing was born on 11 July 1779 at Livermore, Androscoggin County, Maine.² He was a farmer. He was the son of Reuben Wing and Priscilla Burgess.^1,2 Joseph Wing married (--?--) Swift say 1802.³ Joseph Wing married Sarah Brown, daughter of Stephen Brown and Elizabeth Ann Day, about 1818 at Troy, Orleans County, Vermont.³ Joseph Wing died in March 1836 at Troy at age 56.^3,4 He was buried at North Troy Cemetery, North Troy, Orleans County, Vermont.⁴
